🔒 Privacy Policy for fff (favorite film folder)
1. Overview
The developer of fff ("We", "Us", or "Provider") respects your privacy. We do not require an account, do not collect personal identifiers (such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, or contact lists), and do not sell or share data for advertising.
We do, however, collect limited anonymous usage analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve it. The details are described in Section 2.
2. Anonymous Usage Analytics
To measure feature usage and product quality, fff uses Google Firebase Analytics. The information collected is not linked to your identity; we use only Firebase's anonymous installation identifier and never associate analytics events with a personal profile.
(a) What we collect:
- Feature interaction: photo capture events, save / share actions, filter (preset) selections, frame applications, slider adjustments (intensity / brightness), screen views, and time spent on certain screens (e.g., the films / filter detail screen).
- Aggregate counters: total saves, daily / weekly save counts, distinct filters tried, session count, days since install, consecutive-day usage streak.
- Derived properties: favorite preset (the most-used filter), engagement tier, and a coarse "power-user score" derived from the above counters — all computed locally and stored anonymously.
- Standard diagnostics (auto-collected by Firebase): device model, OS version, app version, approximate region inferred from IP address (country / city level), and crash / performance data.
(b) What we DO NOT collect:
- ❌ Photo content — pixel data of any image you capture, import, or save is never sent off the device.
- ❌ GPS or EXIF location of photos.
- ❌ Advertising ID (IDFA) — we have disabled advertising-ID inclusion in Firebase. fff does not show ads and does not track you across other apps or websites. Because of this, the App Tracking Transparency prompt is not displayed.
- ❌ Personal identifiers — no name, email, phone number, or account information.
- ❌ Contacts, calendar, microphone, or other apps' data.
(c) Where the data goes:
Anonymous events are processed by Google Firebase and may be exported to Google BigQuery for our internal analysis. Google acts as a data processor for us and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). Aggregated insights are used to improve fff and inform product decisions; raw event data is not shared with third parties for marketing or sold.
